Pumpkin Spice Protein Balls

Pumpkin Spice Protein Balls… yes please! Whoever said pumpkin spice is only for fall, definitely never met a recipe like this one!?! Thanks Maiah (a.k.a. @runninggirlhealth), we’re loving this creation!


10 dates
1/4 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup almond butter
3/4 cup almond flour or gluten-free oat flour 
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cardamom


  1. Food-process the dates and nondairy milk to form a "date paste."
  2. Add the puree, almond butter and spices. Then mix in the flour of choice.
  3. Pulse in or fold in a chopped Chocolate Coated Almond Spice Squarebar.
  4. Roll into balls and chill for 30 minutes or until set.
