Mint Chocolate Chip Shake

Cashew Butter Mint Chocolate Chip Dream... we're hooked! Some may call this delectable recipe a smoothie, others a milkshake or protein shake, but there's one thing we can all agree upon, it's definitely a must try (and your next go-to recipe)! It's "fast food" at its FINEST; not only does it only take about 5 minutes to make, it's also extremely delicious and nutritious. Plus, it's vegan (but non-plant lovers wouldn't know!), protein-packed, gluten-free, and super clean. Speaking of clean eats, we have to give props to the girl behind this recipe, Margaret of @plantstrongvegan. Her blog is kind of AH-MAZING!     


4 Bananas, frozen
1 1/2 cups unsweetened Almond Milk (or another dairy-free milk option)
1 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder, can sub cacao or carob powder
1 tbsp Cashew Butter
1 Chocolate Coated Mint Squarebar 


  1. Start by opening your Squarebar and cutting it into 16ths. So half, each half into quarters, and then repeating that in the other direction. Leaving you with 16 perfect squares.
  2. Measure and blend all your ingredients together, using just half (8 pieces) of the Squarebar you cut up.
  3. Pour into a glass and top with extra cashew butter and remaining Squarebar pieces. I also added a little granola for texture.
  4. Serve immediately, enjoy!
