Glazed Chocolate PB Donut

Glazed Chocolate Peanut Butter Donuts... donut mind if we dough! Protein-packed and deliciously stacked, a must for your pre- or post-workout fuel! Thanks Louise (a.k.a. @mybetter_self) for this scrumptious recipe.


3/4 cup coconut flour
1/2 scoop vegan protein powder
1/3 cup of coconut sugar
A dash of vanilla extract and/or cinnamon
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 cup of applesauce
1 egg + 1 egg white, or 1/4 cup mashed ripe banana or 2 flax eggs
2/3 cup almond or cashew milk
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Chocolate Coated Peanut Butter Squares (cut into 16ths)

1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 square of dark chocolate
1 tbsp maple syrup or coconut nectar
1 tbsp coconut sugar
Just enough water to mix (about 1 tablespoon and a half)


  1. Mix the flour, protein powder, sweetener, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix your mashed banana or egg, applesauce, almond milk, and apple cider vinegar. Stir well; you can use a blender to make sure no lump remains.
  3. Mix your dry into your wet ingredients. Stir well. Fold in half your Square chunks.
  4. Fill a donut tin with the batter and cook in the oven at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, combine all glaze ingredients together – start by melting the dark chocolate with hot water. Put in the fridge while donuts are cooking.
  6. Let donuts cool for 10 to 15 minutes and add the glaze – put back in the fridge if you want the glaze to thicken! Then evenly sprinkle on the rest of the Square chunks.
