Square-Iced Protein Pancakes

That moment when you realize a Square can be turned into chocolate sauce... let's get stacked and saucy, people! Thanks Chad (a.k.a. @briewilly) for this amazingly creative recipe!


1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tbsp coconut sugar
2 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tbsp melted coconut oil

1 Chocolate Coated Coconut Square
2 tbsp chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut sugar
Splash of unsweetened almond milk


    1. Pancakes: Blend all pancake ingredients together, either by hand or in blender. Cook on a coconut oiled griddle or frying pan over medium/low heat. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. 

    2. Icing/Chocolate Sauce: Place all icing ingredients in a small pot over medium-low heat and stir until fully melted. Top pancakes and enjoy! 
    3. Want to take it a step forward? Caramelize some bananas with coconut oil and a little coconut sugar! NOMS!
