Tiramisu Baked Oatmeal


Tir-a-mi-who?!? Tiramisu! Tiramisu Baked Oatmeal coming to a kitchen near you... as in your kitchen. We recommend you make it asap! Thanks Kim (a.k.a. @pbeechie) for this super scrumptious recipe. 


Ingredients:

1/2 cup oats
1 tbsp coconut flour (or ground flax)
1 tsp instant espresso powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
4-6 tsp coconut sugar or 3 stevia packets
1/2 cup almond milk
1 tbsp dairy-free cream cheese (we recommend Kite Hill Almond Milk Cream Cheese)
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Chocolate Coated Almond Spice Square


Recipe:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
  2. Mix oats, coconut flour, espresso powder, baking powder, and 1-2 tsp coconut sugar. 
  3. Then add almond milk and stir. Fold in half of your Square chunks.
  4. Pour in a baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray and bake for 22-25 minutes.
  5. Next make your cream. Mix cream cheese with a touch of coconut sugar and water until desired consistency is met. 
  6. Spread on top of baked oatmeal. 
  7. Next make your chocolate sauce. Mix cocoa powder with 2-4 tsp of coconut sugar (depending on your sweet tooth), and 2 tbsp of water. 
  8. Once the desired consistency is met, swirl on top of cream layer. 
  9. Finally, take your leftover Square chunks and randomly scatter them on top. 
  10. Enjoy!
