Square Organics began in the San Francisco kitchen of husband and wife Sarah & Andrew Gordon.

While battling asthma, Sarah discovered that eliminating inflammatory foods like gluten, dairy, soy, and processed sugars freed her from medication. And so Square was born to support her restricted diet while maintaining an active lifestyle. It's been more than five years since her last asthma attack, and she no longer keeps an inhaler in the house.

Square launched March 2012 with a belief that ingredients are what matter most. This starts with sourcing only the most nutrient-dense organic and non-gmo foods, and striving to work directly with farmers whenever possible to ensure an ethical supply chain from crop to bar.
